Adding a Company to Customers

A company is the name of the business of the customer. Each customer is linked to its business by the administrator. This is helpful to identify the name of the business from where the tickets have been created and assigned in neetoDesk.

Example

Let's say that we have an Example company that has https://example.com domain added in neetoDesk.

When customer [email protected] creates a ticket, Sam will be assigned with Example company.


In order to link a customer to a business, the first step is to create a new company which can done in the following way:

Follow the steps mentioned below :

  1. Go to Settings -> Companies.

  2. Click on Add Company button.

  3. Enter the Company Name , Description and Domain.

  4. Click on Save Changes button, the new company will be added successfully.

Adding a company name to a customer:

  1. Go to Customers.

  2. Click on Action button of a customer and select Edit.

    Select company name from the dropdown.

  3. Click on Save Changes button, the new company will be tagged to the customer successfully.
