Forward from any inbox

If you are already using Gmail or Microsoft 365? Prefer the "Login with Google" or "Login with Microsoft" option on the mailbox setup . See Connect a Mailbox with Gmail/Microsoft Outlook.

If you are using a provider other than Google or Microsoft, for example, Zoho, ProtonMail, Fastmail, Yahoo, iCloud, or a custom domain. NeetoDesk gives you a unique forwarding address. You set your existing provider to forward every incoming message to that address, and NeetoDesk turns each forwarded email into a ticket. 

This forwarding setup uses NeetoDesk's outbound mail server, so agent replies won't appear in your original inbox like Gmail, Microsoft or a custom email server. 

Connecting your existing inbox

  1. Go to Admin Panel > Support Channels > Mailboxes.

  2. Open the mailbox you want to connect, or click Add new mailbox to create one.

  3. Select Forward from any inbox.

  4. Copy the forwarding address shown at the top;  it looks like [email protected].

  5. Open the inbox you want to forward from in a new browser tab.

  6. In your provider's settings, add a rule that forwards all incoming mail to the address you copied.
