NeetoDesk offers free, full migration from Freshdesk, including tickets, contacts, conversation history, and attachments. Most migrations complete less than a week.
How the migration works
Migration happens in two phases.
Phase 1: Analysis. We check your Freshdesk data against how NeetoDesk stores tickets, contacts, conversations, and attachments. If anything needs adjustment for your account, we make those changes now. Once the analysis is clean, we'll confirm a switchover date and time with you.
Phase 2: Switchover. The ticket migration itself takes about 10 minutes for most accounts. After that, we move all your attachments and other assets over from Freshdesk in the background, so you can start using NeetoDesk right away. How long the attachment move takes depends on how many you have.
Sharing your Freshdesk data
To start the migration, you need to share your Freshdesk data with us. There are two ways to do this.
Option 1: Freshdesk API key
If your Freshdesk plan includes API access, the simplest path is to share your API key. We'll use it to pull your data directly from Freshdesk.

Option 2: Manual export
If API access isn't available on your Freshdesk plan, export your data from Freshdesk and share the file. Freshdesk's export guide: How do I export the data in my account?
When running the export:
Choose JSON as the export format.
Select all the checkboxes so the export covers every data type.
Send the exported file to NeetoDesk support once it's ready.
Starting the migration
Contact NeetoDesk support via chat or at [email protected], and send the approximate number of tickets in your Freshdesk account along with your API key or export file. We'll run the analysis, tell you about anything we find, and confirm a switchover date. On that date, we'll complete the ticket migration in under 10 minutes, then start moving the attachments in the background. You can begin using NeetoDesk as soon as the tickets are migrated.
